Cornish, Maine Maternity & Boudoir Photographer// Boudoir Photo Shoot Outfits You Already Own

Most people think that they need super fancy lingerie or dresses for their boudoir or maternity boudoir photo shoot. Look in your closet. What do you have in your closet that you LOVE and looks amazing on you? Think outside the box. How can you incorporate those pieces into your pictures?

Let’s start simple. Do you have a simple sports bra and ripped jeans. Yep, bra and ripped jeans. Not your typical boudoir outfit, but trust me it works! They photograph AWESOME! It’s also super amazing for women who are a little self conscious of their butts and thighs. This is a really good outfit to end out a session. Most women just throw on a sweatshirt afterwards and are good to go!

Another amazing outfit is just a simple black bra and (non-granny panty) panties. I’m really loving the high waisted panties and bralette combos that have been coming into the studio recently. There are so many different combos with different kinds of lingerie and it always looks phenomenal. Add a simple white button down shirt and you have a totally new look! Boom! Two outfits that you probably have sitting in your closet!

Now my favorite. A band t-shirt and panties. This combo is so simple and almost everyone has these pieces in their closet. This also works for more tummy conscious ladies. Throw on a pair of fishnets and you have such a badass outfit.

What woman doesn’t own some sort of bodysuit? We all own bodysuits. We might not wear them all the time because they can be a pain in the ass, but for boufdoir it is super sexy. You don’t have to think about bras or underwear. And, there are so many different kinds. Its another great outfit for tummy conscious ladies.

Then there’s the obvious one…. your birthday suit! Can’t think of anything at all. Ask me about doing a stylized , fine art nude session. I love a super tasteful fine art session. I’ll make sure that you are posed in a way so everything that needs to be covered is. No full frontals here! I highly recommend every pregnant mama does at least one fine art nude setup for their maternity session. You won’t regret it!!
