Cornish Maine Boudoir Studio // Megan & Jenna More of My Favorites From 2024 ( that I can show)
One of my favorite things about boudoir photography is the trust my clients place in me. Every session is a collaboration, a chance to create something unique that celebrates each individual’s beauty and confidence. This year, Megan and Jenna’s sessions stood out not only because of the incredible images we captured but also because of the amazing way that these sessions made my clients feel.
Megan and I have been friends for a while, so when she decided to book a boudoir session with me, I was beyond thrilled. There’s something extra special about someone you know trusting you with such a personal experience.
We started planning well in advance, brainstorming outfits and talking about the vibe she wanted for her session. Megan was also open to be my first victim for my wet set.
The day of the session, she arrived with a variety of outfits that perfectly suited her personality and style. We moved through different setups in my studio, capturing a mix of soft, moody, and bold images. Then came the wet set—the part I’d been most excited (and nervous) to try. Megan was an absolute natural, and the results were better than I could have imagined. The way the water added dimension and depth to the images was incredible, and Megan absolutely owned every frame.
It was such a rewarding session, not only because of the stunning images we created but because of the bond of trust and collaboration that made it all possible.
Jenna came to me with a clear vision for her session and a creative energy that made the planning process so much fun. As a salon owner, she knows the power of beauty and self-expression, so it was no surprise that she wanted every detail of her session to be perfect—starting with hair and makeup.
After a few conversations about stylists, she chose Jessica Griffin, a peer she admires in the beauty industry. Watching Jessica work her magic was such a treat; she created a look that was flawless and completely aligned with Jenna’s personality.
Jenna and I spent weeks texting back and forth about outfit ideas, discussing textures, colors, and styles that would make her session stand out. By the time the day arrived, we had a game plan, and Jenna came prepared with an amazing selection of pieces.
Once in the studio, Jenna was a natural. She flowed effortlessly through poses, and we worked together to find the best backdrops and lighting for her looks. Showing her the images on the back of my camera as we went was such a joy; seeing her light up with excitement and confidence was exactly why I do what I do.
Both Megan and Jenna’s sessions were reminders of how powerful boudoir photography can be. For Megan, it was about stepping into something new and trusting me to guide her. For Jenna, it was about combining her creative eye with her confidence to create something truly stunning.
What made these sessions even more special was the collaborative energy—whether it was Megan being the first to try the wet set or Jenna bringing her expertise in beauty to the table, these shoots felt like partnerships in every sense.
To Megan and Jenna—thank you for trusting me and for bringing your unique energy to the studio. These sessions were not only highlights of my year but also proof of the magic that happens when we step out of our comfort zones and celebrate ourselves.
