Cornish, Maine Boudoir Photographer // Holly // Luxury Boudoir Photoshoot

As you may already know, I’ve been doing model calls so that I can have marketing material for my new website. I don’t typically share a client’s photos (unless they give me permission, of course!). A lot of my volunteers were fellow photographers, some boudoir photographers and some portrait. It was fun to be able to talk shop while I do what I love.

Holly, also a boudoir photographer, was one of the first to jump at the opportunity to be one of my models. She told me that she likes to do boudoir photoshoots just to remind herself what her clients go through. Which is incredibly important. We forget how vulnerable the whole experience can be. Most people are not super comfortable in their skin, especially enough to take their clothes off in front of a stranger! Personally, my quirky and goofy personality have been one of the great ice breakers during my sessions. Its important to have fun no matter how “serious” the session is supposed to be.

We had briefly discussed styling ahead of time, but Holly being another boudoir photographer, I trusted that she would know what to wear that would fit her well and photographs well. She brought a number of different outfits and discussed which would go best with the backdrop of my studio. Holly gives off some major Marilyn Monroe vintage vibes, so a lot of her vintage lingerie works really well for her. We started with that and then moved on to some more traditional lingerie.

Holly absolutely rocked her session. Just like all the other women that volunteered to model for me knowing that her pictures would be posted, I thank them and commend them on their bravery.

Valentines Day is coming up. There’s no better gift then boudoir pictures!
