Cornish Maine Boudoir Photographer // Miss A's Boudoir Photo Shoot
As a boudoir photographer, each session is an intimate and artistic journey, and Miss A's bridal boudoir shoot was nothing short of these. Miss A first reached out to me upon her engagement, expressing her desire to create a stunning boudoir album as a heartfelt gift for her fiancé. We discussed her wanting to do both classic boudoir and fine art sets. I love doing both, so I was super excited for her session!
On the day of the session, Miss A arrived at the studio ready for her session with her bag filled with amazing lingerie. As my talented hair and makeup artist began her work, we delved into conversations spanning from professions to personal hobbies. I love getting to know my clients during this part of the shoot!
Once her hair and makeup were flawlessly completed, we commenced the session with Miss A wearing classic black lingerie, capturing exquisite fine art portraits against the studio's simple backdrop. Transitioning seamlessly, between all of the sets that I had prepared. I had Miss A change in-between every set to utilize all of her outfits that she brought in.
The best part of her studio was when we decided to do Fine Art Nudes with her veil. We used a simple hand painted backdrop to add to the aesthetic. We covered her completely with her veil to start and then popped her face out for a few. The last few frames were my favorite from the whole photo shoot.
It is sessions like these that remind me of the profound privilege it is to capture such intimate and empowering moments through the art of boudoir photography. The journey with Miss A was truly a testament to the beauty and strength that lies within every woman.
