What is a boudoir session?

A boudoir photo shoot is a transformative experience that goes beyond capturing "sexy" images; it is a profound act of self-love and empowerment. For many women, this intimate session becomes a journey of healing, helping to reclaim their bodies and self-esteem from past traumas. The empowering atmosphere allows them to see themselves through a lens of beauty, strength, and confidence. The exhilaration and pride felt during the shoot can reignite a sense of self-worth and sensuality, providing a lasting boost to their mental and emotional well-being. Ultimately, a boudoir photo shoot celebrates the essence of femininity, instilling a renewed sense of confidence and self-appreciation.

Who can book a boudoir session?

Anyone can book a boudoir session, regardless of age or body type. Boudoir photography is about celebrating your body and confidence. Seriously most of my ladies are in their 40’s or 50’s!

Do I need to have modeling experience?

No modeling experience is necessary. As a professional boudoir photographer will guide you through poses and expressions to help you feel comfortable and look your best.

What should I wear for my boudoir session?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. Popular choices include lingerie, corsets, and robes, but you can also opt for an oversized shirt, a jean jacket, leather pants or nothing at all. It's all about what makes you feel beautiful.

How should I prepare for my boudoir session?

- Skin: Moisturize your skin and avoid any new skincare products to prevent reactions.

-Clothing: Choose outfits that make you feel amazing. Make sure they fit well and bring multiple options. If wearing lingerie, get fitted.

- Sleep and Hydration: Try to get plenty of rest. I know, easier said than done! Stay hydrated before your session.

Will my photos be shared publicly?

Hair and makeup lasts anywhere from 1-1.5 hours. The actual shoot time is between 1 to 2 hours, but this can vary depending on any add on sets you choose.

Hell yes, you can bring a friend for support!! Having a hype girl truly enhances the experience.

What happens after the session?

After the session, we will schedule a Reveal Appointment. This is when you see your pictures for the first time. You will also pick your package and start your album design!

Are boudoir sessions only for women?

Yes, my boudoir sessions are only for women.

What if I feel nervous or self-conscious?
