Cornish Maine Boudoir Photographer // A Day In The Life Of A Boudoir Photographer
As a boudoir photographer, my days are a delicate dance between capturing the beauty of my clients and ensuring that every aspect of their experience is meticulously crafted. From the moment a session is scheduled, my focus is on curating the best possible experience for my clients.
Preparation is key. Prior to each client's arrival, my studio is cleaned and the sets are all arranged. My hair and makeup area is immaculately put together, ready for my stylist to bring out each of my clients upmost beauty. Their robe, is delicately hung, a thoughtful touch that ensures my clients feel both comfortable and confident from the outset.
As my client steps into the studio, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air. With a warm latte in hand, we engage in conversation, allowing them to unwind while the talented hair and makeup artists work their magic. Then we shoot.
Once the session draws to a close, the studio undergoes a meticulous cleaning. Every detail is tended to with care, ensuring that the next client will step into a space that's as pristine and welcoming as the first. As the day winds down, I begin the task of downloading, backing up, and culling. Initial edits are started to get a feel for how that session’s pictures will end up.
While much of my time is devoted to administrative tasks, it's these moments that allow me to extend my work beyond the studio. My days are filled with consultations with future clients, curating content for social media, updating my website, and edit for what sometimes feels like days!
