Cornish Maine Boudoir Photographer //Not A Girly Girl And Don't Own A Lot Of Lingerie??

As a boudoir photographer, I often have clients who are nervous about their upcoming session because they don't have the "right" lingerie. But let me tell you a little secret - you don't need to wear lingerie to have an amazing boudoir session.

While lingerie is certainly a popular choice for boudoir sessions, it's not the only option. In fact, some of my favorite boudoir photos have been taken with clients wearing nothing at all. The beauty of boudoir photography is that it's all about celebrating your body and feeling confident in your own skin. And that can be achieved with or without lingerie.

So why do some clients feel like they need to wear lingerie? It's often because they think it's the "expected" or "traditional" outfit for a boudoir session. But the truth is, there are no rules when it comes to boudoir. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident.

If you're not comfortable wearing lingerie, there are plenty of other options. You could wear a cozy sweater, a flowy dress, or even just your favorite pair of jeans. The key is to choose something that makes you feel good and reflects your personal style.

Another benefit of not wearing lingerie is that it can actually make you feel more vulnerable and exposed. And that vulnerability can translate into some truly stunning and intimate photos. It's all about capturing the raw and real moments, and sometimes that means ditching the lingerie and letting your true self shine through.

Of course, if you do want to wear lingerie, that's great too! There are so many beautiful options out there, and I love working with clients to find outfits that make them feel amazing. But just remember that lingerie is not a requirement for a successful boudoir session.

So if you're feeling nervous or unsure about your upcoming boudoir session, remember that you don't need to wear lingerie to have an amazing experience. It's all about celebrating your body and feeling confident in your own skin, no matter what you're wearing (or not wearing!).
